The war of words between Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan and YSRCP leaders is now new. We have seen this many times. As a party head, Pawan Kalyan raises his voice on many issues and the party leaders hit back at him questioning what authority he has to point the gun at the government and the Chief Minister.
Anil Kumar Yadav had made many heads turn by calling Pawan Kalyan Biccha Nayak. He said that he begs seats from the TDP and that's why he is not Bheemla Nayak but Biccha Nayak.
Former Minister Anil Kumar Yadav had repeated his earlier comments and said that he had no regrets in saying that. Repeating the statements, Anil Kumar Yadav said that he will take back his comments if Janasena can contest from 140 seats and if Pawan Kalyan can claim himself as a Chief Minister candidate. Anil Kumar Yadav said that not just Pawan Kalyan, Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu can also try his luck by going solo in the polls.
While he made these comments as a regular counter, political experts feel that the YCP leadership is sensing a downfall in its popularity. The decisions taken by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are not going well with many and even the YSRCP supporters are openly criticizing the decisions.
The taxes are only going high and high and even the RTC ticket prices are also going up. If there is anything that the people in the state can afford, then it's movie tickets. However, the government is giving its nod to the movie ticket hike for selected movies.
Many leaders in the YCP including the Ministers are facing a negative image in their respective regions and this could impact the party's winning chances in the forthcoming polls. On top of this, leaders who are not happy about not getting the Cabinet posts might also leave the party in the coming days.
Given these negative points, reports are saying that Telugu Desam Party and Janasena might join hands. If this happens then there is a possibility of the 2014 situation getting repeated. For the same reason, experts believe that YCP is daring both parties to go for solo polls.
