The elections of Andhra Pradesh Olympic Association is turning into a bitter battle with two MPs of Telugu Desam Party.
A Group announced that Guntur MP Galla Jaydev has been unanimously elected as President of AP Olympic Association in the poll held on April 4th in Tirupati. However, Rajya Sabha Member CM Ramesh declared that election conducted in the first week of April is invalid and fresh polls will be held on 19th of this month as per the Court order. Even the Association's Current President Lagadapati Rajagopal makes it clear that elections for the AP Olympic Association will take place only in the 3rd week of April.
CM Ramesh claimed he is in race for AP Olympic Association President post and he has got the support of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu. On the other hand, JC Pavan Reddy will be contesting for the position of Chief Secretary.
