YSR Congress Giddalur coordinator IV Reddy accused CM Chandrababu Naidu of bowing down before Prime Minister Narendra Modi during their recent meeting in New Delhi out of fear of criminal cases and losing power.

In a statement issued Today, IV Reddy alleged TDP Supremo has begged for the appointment of Prime Minister after he was denied it continuously for an year. He did say that Modi had at last agreed to meet Babu after two of his MPs had turned mediators.

The YCP Leader slammed Chandrababu Naidu for focusing more on delimitation of Assembly Constituencies rather than issues related to the development of AP during his meeting with PM. 'Instead of seeking increase of Assembly Segments, Babu should have sought Special Category Status. Naidu asking Modi to fulfill promises of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 clearly suggests nothing has been done by Central & State Governments in the past 3-4 years. The meeting with PM is only meant to ensure TDP-BJP goes for elections jointly in 2019 as Chandrababu isn't confident of winning if he fights alone. A Person who was involved in cash-for-vote scandal have no moral right to sit in CM Chair even a single second more,' he said.
