YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy extended his support to Kapu reservation demand. He ridicules Chandrababu Naidu saying he has never seen such a person in his life at the same time.
Addressing the press meet on Monday, Jagan demanded TDP Government to mount pressure on Centre to make a constitutional amendment for including Kapus in the Backward Classes without affecting the reservations extended to BCs as of now. He advised AP Government to follow Tamil Nadu model of constitutional amendment for 69 percent of reservations in educational institutions and employment.
Yuva Neta questioned why Chandrababu still continues the alliance with NDA if he unable to get the constitutional amendment. The YSRC Chief also point out about the mention about appointing a commission for Kapu reservation and resolving the issue in a time-bound manner. Responding on TDP's allegations that YCP was behind violence, He commented AP CM is trying to cover up his failures with baseless allegations.
