With the corona-positive cases being reported in Telugu states the AP government has also focused on how about taking safety measures in the wake of reports emerging news of positive cases of corona in AP.
AP CM Jagan held a meeting at the CM Camp Office in Tadepalli on the measures that have to be taken to counter the spread of the virus. Andhra Pradesh Chief Secretary Neelam Sahni, Special Secretary of the Department of Medical Health KS Jawahar Reddy and other higher officials have attended the meeting.
Jagan has directed the officials to set up a call center only dedicated to Corona to register the cases and has also allocated Rs 200 for this. Special Isolation wards will also set up at Vijayawada and Anantapur.
If the reports are to be believed the Village Secretariats will also be used for the treatment and the Village and ward secretariats will be given complete information on the measures that should be taken for the prevention of COVID-19 so that the information will be spread to the public easily.
It has been widely reported that screen examinations were held for passengers that landed in India through airports and ports 6027 and 790 respectively. Reportedly 60 members in Gannavaram and 469 in Krishnapatnam were examined as they came to India through foreign countries.
