To lend a helping hand to the auto and taxi owners who faced severe losses with imposing lockout in the wake of the spread of the pandemic Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy started the second phase of the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme.
In this second phase as many as 2,62,493 beneficiaries if auto and taxi owners will get Rs 10,000 each. In this phase, the government released Rs 262.49 crores of funds which will be directly deposited in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy deposited the amount in the accounts of the beneficiaries through online from the CM Camp Office at Tadepalli and held a video conference.
Speaking at the press conference Jagan said that eligible candidates who did not get the beneficiary should register themselves in the Spandana app so that they will get their due help.
Jagan urged the drivers to not drive vehicles while drunk and asked them to follow the rules and regulations
Jagan went on to say that after this scheme he has two more schemes lined-up as per his calendar and added that on the 10th of this month Nayi Brahmins, Vendors, and Tailors will be receiving the beneficiary.
On the other hand, Kapu Nestham and MSME schemes will be implemented on the 24th and 29th of this month respectively.
