Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and YSR were political rivals. Now things have changed and YSR's son Jagan is Chandrababu's rival. Since 2014, the rivalry between them turned intense, and after YSRCP won the 2019 elections, Jagan started targeting CBN more. Not just him, but even his party leaders are also targeting Chandrababu.
Now Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for elections and in 2024, the general elections will be held. Jagan targeted Chandrababu Naidu, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, and pro-TDP media for trying to destroy the state. Saying that YCP should come to power for the betterment of the state, Jagan urged people to defeat them.
During the same, he also made some shocking comments that he doesn't have newspapers and pro-media like CBN and others have. His comments started a debate in the state on what about the pro-YCP media that never misses any opportunity to target Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, and others.
Recently, Chandrababu Naidu addressed the Republic Summit 2023 held by the popular national News channel Republic. During his address, he spoke about various things like development, IUT Push, and the transformation that comes with the growth of IT. He quoted the example of Hyderabad to talk about IT push.
YS Jagan has now targeted Chandrababu Naidu at the address and called him an old tiger. Using the Panchatantra tale, Jagan targeted Babu. He even quoted the story of a Tiger with a golden bangle in which the Tiger fools a person that it has stopped eating meat as it doesn't feel like eating meat at all. When a person believes the story and goes close to him, it eats him.
Jagan linked the story to Andhra Pradesh politics and said that there is an old Tiger which is forty years industry and had eaten many animals. After becoming old the Tiger lost the strength to hunt and started making efforts to attract people towards it by using fake words, the Chief Minister said.
The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister quoted the Panchatantra story and targeted the Telugu Desam Party boss to urge the voters in the state to not trust Chandrababu Naidu for the next elections so that the state will develop with that.
