AP CM, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who promised that the public will witness a liquor ban in the state has taken another daring step. Earlier, the government has decided to take over all the liquor shops in the state.
Reportedly, Jagan has issued orders to cut shot the bar shops by 40 percent. Currently, there are 798 bars in the state.
Reportedly, liquor will be served in bars from morning 11 to 10 in the night. Star Hotels will be reportedly allowed to serve liquor from morning 11 to 11 in the night. Anyone serves duplicate liquor or smuggling, they will be subjected to severe action.
The AP Government has increased the price of some brands already. Jagan has ordered the officials to submit the reports on how well the implementation of the liquor ban performed till now. Liquor Shop owners, who tried to start their business in Telangana are expected to shift their base completely to here, once this alleged ban takes place.
