With their leader YS Jagan walking out of the prison, YSR Congress is going to be very aggressive while dealing with the Samaikyandhra movement and grabbing every opportunity to expose the two-eye stands of ruling Congress and Opposition TDP.
To everyone surprise, YSRC now demands state government to convene the Assembly immediately to move a resolution seeking Samaikyandhra. The party is going to submit a memorandum to chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy appealing him to convene the Assembly session and it's MLAs are planning to meet the Speaker regarding the same request. Jagan went a step ahead and sought the appointment of Governor ESL Narasimhan to explain him on the necessity to convene the assembly and move a resolution, so that the stand of all the political parties will be clear.
Although Congress and TDP had expressed their consent for Telangana statehood, they have taken a U-turn after July 30th announcement and were speaking in different tones in different regions in the name of respecting the sentiments of the people. YSRC feels Assembly is the right platform to expose the vote bank politics and hence it comes with this new demand.
