YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to be in plans to reshuffle his cabinet. Like he did with the current Cabinet, the Chief Minister is expected to give a chance to new faces to serve the state as the Cabinet Ministers. The Cabinet is likely to be announced very soon.
Andhra Pradesh State Energy Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy had earlier spilled the bills of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet going through a complete reshuffle. He took a step ahead and said he is ready to leave his Cabinet post in the new cabinet team.
As per the information, Jagan will have a new cabinet with new faces. The decision was taken by the Chief Minister reportedly to see that leaders will not get repine. The list of the new Cabinet Ministers is nearing to get finalised and will be announced very soon.
On the other hand, it is also said that Jagan Mohan Reddy will revamp only 80 percent of the Cabinet Ministers and might continue 20 percent of them. The reports are quoting what Jagan said at the time of announcing his Cabinet after the 2019 elections.
It has to be noted that, at the time of announcing his Cabinet in 2019 June, the newly appointed Chief Minister of divided Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced that the Cabinet Ministers will be removed after two and half years to give chance to the other leaders.
Jagan added that the Ministers who score good points for their work will be given key posts as a token of appreciation for their work while the Ministers who score negative points would be removed from the Cabinet. Taking these points into consideration, we can expect that a few Ministers might get retained and the question here is who are the lucky ones to get retained.
If we have to take anything from these reports, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy might announce his new Cabinet with 25 members and the changes in the Cabinet might be made before the 8th of December. After the changes are made, the Cabinet would be announced.
