Jagananna Ugadi Kanuka: Govt makes MOU with Microsoft to provide training for youth

On the occasion of Ugadi, the first day of the Hindu lunisolar, the Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told a piece of good news for the youth in the state.

The AP government has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the tech giant Microsoft Corporation to provide training for the eligible youth. More than one lakh sixty thousand youth will be provided training in Software and other IT-based fields.

After training, the youth who underwent training will be provided with certificates, that increase the chances of their employment. The MOU was signed through a video conference.

Dr. Hari Krishna, the special officer to Chief Minister Jagan took to Twitter to announce the good news. This is the first time, Microsoft has come forward for such a program, he said.

'Andhra Pradesh and Microsoft have signed an MOU to provide training for one lakh and sixty thousand youth and increase employment opportunities. This is Jagananna Ugadi gift for the youth,' Dr. Hari Krishna's tweet reads.
