In a significant move, aimed at reaching out to the people of the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will launch a state-wide field-level tour from February 1. He would visit several villages across the state and monitor the implementation of various welfare schemes put in place by his government. The programme would be on the lines of Rachabanda.
The move is aimed at reaching out to the people of the state. At the same time, he would also try to counter the Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP's misinformation campaign on the three capitals. YS Jagan is all set to take on the TDP through this outreach programme. He is also going to explain about how the TDP is trying to stall the developmental programmes taken up by his government by misutilising its majority in the AP legislative council.
The programme will involve interactive programmes and YS Jagan will directly talk to the people. This will be YS Jagan's first outreach after becoming the chief minister. The last time he undertook such an outreach was during the historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra, which covered over 3500 km in 365 days.
