In an interesting development of sorts, Nandamuri fans in Kuppam raised Jai Jr NTR and CM NTR slogans after the screening of Jai Lava Kusa today. The interesting thing is that this incident happened at Kuppam, the home constituency of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. Amid the brewing war-like situation between hardcore TDP leaders and Jr NTR's fans, the Jr NTR slogans in Kuppam are catching the attention of the netizens. This will obviously irk the TDP high command as not many would have expected NTR slogans at a movie screening.
Notably, this isn't the first time something like this is happening. There was an occurrence on similar lines when the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu toured Kuppam recently. A few TDP supporters who attended Naidu's event openly raised Jai NTR and CM NTR slogans. This irked the TDP chief immensely and he walked away without commenting about the same. Something very similar is happening again, but this time around, Naidu isn't on the receiving end. But nevertheless, this incident took place in Kuppam and it is sure to catch everyone's attention.
Well, Chandrababu Naidu is already facing a tricky situation in Kuppam as the TDP lost both the local body elections and as well as the municipal corporation elections which were held recently. At a tricky time like this, the NTR slogans issue could reflect the political climate in Kuppam. It is very much evident that a section of TDP leaders are rooting for Jr NTR's entry into TDP. However, the TDP high command is yet to comment about the development, and understandably so.
At the moment, Jr NTR is opting to take an apolitical stand for reasons best known to him but he will have to deal with the fact that he will be the central figure of Andhra Pradesh politics in the days to come. A section of TDP leaders opine that Tarak is the future of the party but in contrast, CBN's supporters feel that Lokesh is the face of the party in the future. The conflicting interests are the talk of the town now. More clarity is expected to emerge in the days to follow.
