Former Union Minister S Jaipal Reddy responding on the proposal made by Telangana Chief Minister to form a Federal Front for dethroning Narendra Modi. He termed it as a new drama begun by KCR to cheat the people of Telangana.
Jaipal Reddy: 'KCR isn't someone who can be trusted. He is always Modi Front! To cheat Intellectuals, People's Organizations and Public, He used harsh language while talking about Modi. At the National level, KCR would only befriend Modi as Congress is an alternative for TRS in Telangana'.
The Congress Veteran opined KCR have the habit of using uncivilized and unparliamentary language while talking about politicians of other parties. He adds, 'The ideologies of TRS and BJP are more or less similar. In 2009 Polls, KCR declared NDA won even before election results were announced and we saw what happened. He ended up facing criticism for praising Note Ban and GST. For 2014 Polls, He tried his best for alliance with BJP and the saffron party rejected the proposal. In upcoming polls, TRS have no other option but to form alliance with BJP'.
Though he is hopeful of Congress coming to power in Telangana, Jaipal Reddy made it clear he isn't in CM race. He claims to be planning to contest from Mahbubnagar Parliament constituency in next election. 'My focus is on national politics. I won't interfere in Congress internal issues. BJP damaged Congress in North East region using religion. Whereas, The saffron party got weakened in the North region,' he said.
