The much-anticipated Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) polls are getting more and more interesting as the political parties are taking the polls seriously.

After TDP, Jana Sena has also expressed its interest to contest the civic body polls. Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan who is on the Amaravati tour currently announced the news.

Though Jana Sena is gearing up for the elections, there is no clarity on whether the party will contest from all the divisions of GHMC or the party will contest from the limited divisions.

Jana Sena has announced an alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) in January 2020. The alliance will contest the elections in Andhra Pradesh. However, it is not clear on the alliance with BJP in Telangana. We will get clarity on the alliance very soon as the nomination process will begin tomorrow.

Seeing these polls from the Jana Sena point of view, the election is very crucial for the party to taste success. The party faced a brutal shock in the 2019 General elections in Andhra Pradesh. In much embarrassment, even the party chief Pawan Kalyan lost the elections.

The Telangana wing of Jana Sena is confident that they can win the GHMC elections and add a victory to the party's name. It is believed that Pawan Kalyan announced the decisions to contest the polls going by the request of the TS leaders of the party. Let us see how can the party fare in the polls.
