Jana Sena vs YSRCP on Konaseema Violence Accused Person

Update: 2022-05-26 06:51 GMT
One man seems to be at the centre  of the raging violence over the renaming of Konaseema district. While everyone is pointing an accusing finger at him, there is a difference of opinion about which party he belongs to. While the Jana Sena and the TDP are tom-tomming that the person in question is a YSRCP activist, the YSRCP is furnishing proof that he belongs to the Jana Sena  and is accusing the Jana Sena-TDP combine of inciting passions over a well-meaning decision to name the district after Babasaheb Ambedkar.

The police have arrested one Avvam Sai the other day when he tried to immolate himself opposing the renaming of the Konaseema district. He was promptly taken into custody. The police are of the opinion that this extreme action on the part of Avvam Sai is responsible for inflaming passions in otherwise peaceful Konaseema.

The Jana Sena and the TDP are showing photographs of Sai with Minister Pinipe Viswaroop, whose house was burnt to ashes. They say that this shows that Sai is a YSRCP worker. They also claim that he had recently celebrated the birthday of the minister.  They said that he has been quite active in the YSRCP. The Opposition says that the violence was a planned conspiracy of the YSRCP.

However, the YSRCP proved one-up on the opposition, when Government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy released the pictures of Sai taking part in Jana Sena rallies in Konaseema and elsewhere. His photographs with both Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan too were released. As both the parties are involved in the slugfest, Avvam Sai is cooling his heels in police custody.
