Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa suffered cardiac arrest on Sunday evening. Apollo Hospitals released a health bulletin Today saying the condition of Amma is very critical. She is currently on ECMO and other life support systems.
Union Health Minister JP Nadda who visited Apollo Hospitals told media persons that Jayalalithaa is out of danger at present but require ICU facilities.
A Team of AIIMS Doctors comprising of Pulmonologist Dr. GC Khilnani, Cardiologist Dr.Rajiv Narang, Cardiac Surgeon Dr.Sachin Talwar and Anaesthetist Dr.Anjan Trikha were sent by Centre to Apollo Hospitals on Monday morning to take care of Jayalalithaa.
