Since Yesterday, Reports of Telangana Congress considering the suspension of Jayasudha began doing rounds following the displeasure expressed by party's Secunderabad leaders over the inactive role she has been playing post losing elections.

On Tuesday, Jayasudha met Telangana Congress PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy to discuss on the issue. Post the meeting, Both the leaders addressed the mediapersons to condemn the speculations.

Uttam Kumar Reddy clarified Congress party has no plans to suspend Jayasudha who is an asset to the party. "It's just a media creation. Jayasudha is a Congress Leaders and will remain so. We are looking forward to use her services to strengthen party both in AP and Telangana," he said.

Jayasudha: "There is no truth in the rumours. I will remain in Congress party. I can't restrict myself to a single constituency. As a celebrity, I have to focus on the entire state. So, I had long back requested PCC to relieve me from the responsibility of Secunderabad In-Charge. I don't have any issues with ex-Mayor Karthika Reddy".
