CBN Is Big Enough, Not Sure About Jr NTR: JC

Update: 2019-06-16 10:13 GMT
JC Diwakar Reddy responded over the speculations of his defection into BJP to be in the safe zone for the next five years after TDP faced the worst defeat in 2019 Elections. 'Who said that I would be joining BJP? I had offers from both YCP and BJP. People are of the view that a vacuum is going to be formed as no other parties would survive other than Jagan-led YCP,' he opined.

When asked what did Amit Shah spoke to him, JC clarified: 'I met Narendra Modi few times before the elections but never did I spoke to Amit Shah till date'.

The Senior Politician said he don't have any such plans to shift party as of now. 'I am still continuing in TDP. Conveyed to my party chief that we need to remain silent for sometime to know what the new CM would be doing,' he says.

JC told voters thought of giving an opportunity to YS Jaganmohan Reddy as the CM of AP and hence YCP won 151 MLA Seats.

To the question if TDP need a leadership change and whether Jr NTR should take over the reins of the party, JC opined: 'There is no bigger leader than Chandrababu Naidu for TDP. Be it NTR or Chiru or Pawan, People come to see them because of their popularity but that doesn't guarantee votes. As of Today, Jr NTR is a great actor and his facial features are close to Sr NTR. Can't say if he could shine in politics. When Jana Sena was floated, Pawan Kalyan sent an invitation to Me. I told him that politics has become very costly, people come to watch him but they won't vote'.

Asked if he stays loyal to Naidu till 2024, The Former MP told: 'I have retired from active politics, won't contest either as MLA or MP again. JC Pavan Reddy and JC Ashmit Reddy are in no hurry to change the party. They will remain patient for sometime and decide what's best for them'.
