JC Diwakar Reddy moves High Court

Update: 2017-07-12 10:07 GMT
JC Diwakar Reddy moved Hyderabad High Court against the Flying Ban imposed against him by several Airlines after his unruly behavior with IndiGo Airlines staff at Vizag Airport last month.

Reportedly, TDP MP arrived to the Visakha Airport to catch Hyderabad-bound IndiGo Flight 29 minutes before the take off. However, IndiGo closed the boarding 45 minutes before the departure in compliance with DGCA Norms. JC Diwakar Reddy pushed an Airline Staffer and attempted to throw the printer as well. He, however, didn't apologize so far for behaving in such manner and kept defending himself. Air India, Jet Airways, SpiceJet and four other Airlines imposed a travel ban against the TDP MP.

Now, JC Diwakar Reddy sought High Court's intervention to lift the flying ban imposed by Air India, Vistara, IndiGo, TrueJet, Air Asia, Spice Jet and Turbo Megha Airlines. 'Neither a probe is being conducted before imposing flying ban nor I was issued any notices informing it. The ban should be lifted considering my age and health issues,' he urged.
