AP CM Chandrababu Naidu keeps saying he won't relax until NDA Government was dethroned from power. He claims to be planning to make Rahul Gandhi next Prime Minister of India. Within the TDP, There was a feeling that Chandrababu Naidu lacks any such capability.
None other than JC Diwakar Reddy expressed such a view-point: 'Congress passed a resolution in CWC that Special Category Status will be accorded to AP if Rahul Gandhi becomes Prime Minister. That is why Chandrababu Naidu has joined hands with Congress. But, I don't think Rahul Gandhi could become PM. Chandrababu Naidu pledged that he would make Rahul PM, but that won't happen'.
All the recent Surveys have been predicting Hung Parliament in 2019 but the chances of UPA forming government look bleak. Most probably, NDA will be retaining power with the support of alliance partners such as YCP and TRS.
