Joe Biden Appoints Two More Indian-Americans In White House

Democratic Party leader and US President-elect Joe Biden who has been inducting Indian-Americans into his team has named two more Indian-origin people into his team.

Joe Biden announced that two Indian-Americans Gautam Raghavan and Vinay Reddy will render their services in the White House. While Gautam Raghavan was appointed as Deputy Director of the Office of Presidential Personnel, Vinay Reddy was inducted as the Director of Speechwriting.

Joe Biden announced the new appointment when he was announcing the members who will render their services as the Additional Members of White House Senior Staff.

Gautam Raghavan is currently rendering his services as the Deputy Head of Presidential Appointments on the Biden-Harris Transition. Earlier, he served as the Chief of Staff to US Representative Pramila Jayapal, the chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Vinay Reddy who was appointed as the Director of Speechwriting is currently serving as the speechwriter on the Biden-Harris Transition. During the US election campaign, Vinay Reddy served as Senior Advisor and Speechwriter for the Biden-Harris Campaign.

Earlier, Vinay Reddy has served as chief speechwriter to Vice President Biden during the second term of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Later, he was appointed as the Vice President of Strategic Communications at the National Basketball Association.
