Update: 2018-02-11 07:34 GMT
Three Rajya Sabha seats from Telangana are going to be vacated soon. The six-year term of CM Ramesh (TDP), Rapolu Anand Bhaskar (Congress) and late Palvai Govardhan Reddy (Congress) will be ending in this month.

TRS have as many as 90 MLAs in the 119 member Assembly. Even the seven MLAs of AIMIM would be backing the ruling party. So, TRS aims to win all the three Rajya Sabha Seats.

KCR had already promised to offer one Rajya Sabha seat to Yadava/Golla Kuruma Community. Meat & Poultry Corporation chairman S Rajaiah Yadav, N Narasmhaiah Yadav who unsuccessfully contested from Nagarjuna Sagar on TRS ticket in 2014 Polls, Karimnagar Zilla Parishad Chairman Tula Uma are in race.

For one of the two remaining seats, KCR's Relative is the front-runner. CM has been seriously considering the nomination of TRS General Secretary Joginapally Santosh Kumar, who is with since Telangana movement was launched and also served as Personal Advisor during his term as Union Minister, to the Upper House. He is the son of KCR's Wife Sobha's Sister.

Even Chartered Accountant Divikonda Damodar Rao is in race but KCR mayn't prefer him as he faced allegations of involvement in 2017 Miyapur Land Scam.
