The Judiciary is among the key estates in India that aim at the safety and security of the people. Compared to others, the estates show more concern towards the marginalized people. Talking about the issue which was heard by the Madras High Court on WhatsApp, it is related to holding a Rath Yatra. The hereditary trustee of Shri Abheeshta Varadaraja Swamy temple in Dharmapuri district in Tamil Nadu had filed a petition seeking permission for the yatra to be held.
After hearing the arguments of both sides, Madras High Court Judge, Justice GR Swaminathan gave his green signal for the yatra to be held. However, the court directed the temple authorities to follow all the required measures.
