Update: 2015-05-21 12:23 GMT
Former YSRCP leader and Present TDP man Jupudi Prabhakar Rao faced a strange situation. Its known that TDP chief Chandrababu confirms Jupudi as one of MLC candidate. Hours after his name was announced for MLC seat Jupudi was replaced by former speaker K Prathibha Bharathi for the MLC post.

And the reason is he was not having vote in his own state Andhra Pradesh. Jupudi resides in Kukatpally of Telangana and has his vote there. Jupudi is from Prakasam district but he has registered himself as a voter from Kukatpally in Hyderabad. This made him ineligible for contesting. As Jupudi was not qualified technically Chandrababu hurriedly selected Prathibha Bharathi as the TDP candidate.

Jupudi Prabhakara Rao recently  joined Telugu Desam party in the presence of the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. Jupudi once a trusted lieutenant of YSRC president Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy quit YSRC in August blaming party leaders Y. V. Subba Reddy and Balineni Srinivas for his defeat in the Assembly elections.
