Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao made up his mind to create 14 new districts in the state. He even explained why he is particularly keen to divide the existing 10 Districts.
Speaking about the delimitation of Districts with officials, KCR said: 'On an average, There is 18 lakhs population in each district of the country. In the case of Telangana, 36 lakh people live in each district. Hence, Delimitation is being done to ensure better Administration. About 14 new Districts and 73 or 74 Mandals will be created. The Mandals which were close to a district will be included in that particular district'.
KCR assured that new Districts will be created by Dussehra 2016. He asked MPs and MLAs to forms groups to conduct a survey on the delimitation of districts. He advised public representatives to be fully aware of every aspect related to their constituency.
