The one and only TDP MLA from Cudappah district Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy who won from Rajampet constituency resigned for his whip post owing differences with his own party leaders in district.
As per sources Meda took the decision for being insulted by the officials during the Sree Rama Navami celebrations. Meda along with his family participated in celebrations which held recently but he didnt get the due respect.
Meda said that he will not attend any government program and said he would return his official government vehicle and gunmen.Just before the elections Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy resigned from the congress party and joined the Telugu Desam Part. Meda, who unsuccessfully contested as Congress candidate for Rajampet Assembly constituency, said he joined the TDP as its policies would ensure peoples welfare.
