Better If I Am Not Arrested: Kamal Haasan

Update: 2019-05-17 11:13 GMT
The aftereffects of Kamal Haasan's controversial comment on Nathuram Godse calling him the first terrorist of Independent India has been continuing. And now, He made few more controversial statements. 'Terrorists are in all religions. Every religion has their own terrorist. As per History, Extremists exist in all religions. Attacking with chappals and stones can't stop Me. I am projected as against somebody by misquoting my speech,' he clarified.

When the anticipatory bail petition is pending before the Madras High Court, Ulaganayagan told: 'I am not afraid of getting arrested but it's advisable not to do so as tension prevails. It's not a request, an advice'.

Kamal recalled making the same comments on Godse on the last day of campaigning for 2019 Lok Sabha Polls as well. Ruling out the possibility of issuing an apology, He told his comment is making the Hindus think and only those associated with parties have been making a hue & cry.

When quizzed why DMK and other parties maintained strategic silence, Kamal pointed out it's part of their political agendas.
