Kamal Haasan unveiled the First List of 21 MP Candidates of his party Makkal Needhi Maiam on Wednesday. Much to everyone's surprise, His name didn't feature in first list.
When quizzed about his constituency, Kamal asked public to wait till the release of final list on March 24th to know whether he would contest or not in the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections. He told all the speculations about the constituency chosen to contest will end on March 24th. 'Partymen has to decide whether I should contest or not,' he told.
As per sources, There is division in Makkal Needhi Maiam on whether Kamal Haasan should contest Lok Sabha Polls 2019 or Tamil Nadu Assembly Polls 2021. A final call will be taken on March 23rd.
