Ending the suspense over his plans for 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Kamal Haasan announced his decision not to contest in the upcoming elections though he is fielding Makkal Needhi Maiam candidates in all the Parliament Segments in Tamil Nadu.
While releasing the MNM Manifesto in Coimbatore, Kamal Haasan said: 'There is a lot of work I should do. Will campaign for the victory of my party candidates but I won't contest'.
Ulaganayagan told MNM will contest in 40 Lok Sabha Segments in Tamil Nadu. He added, 'Whoever comes to Delhi, It's gonna affect Tamil Nadu. That is why we are going to Delhi'.
Few days ago, Kamal Haasan criticised Rajinikanth for not contesting Lok Sabha Polls. But now, He himself isn't ready to contest. What could be the reason? Party Members advised Kamal to wait till 2021 Assembly Polls.
