To know the location of people who were kept at quarantine centers, Karnataka Medical Education Minister K Sudhakar has asked the people who were kept under home quarantined in the state to click selfies and send to the government mobile application every hour as the selfie or photo will have GPS coordinates so the location of the sender would be known.
If those home quarantined fail to send selfies every one hour (except between 10 pm to 7 am), then they would be shifted to government-created mass quarantine facilities, the Minister said.
