Karunanidhi undergoes Tracheostomy

DMK Chief M Karunanidhi underwent tracheostomy on Friday after he was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in Chennai following breathing issues.

The 93-Year-Old was brought to Kauvery Hospital in a specially designed vehicle on Thursday night. Doctors informed media that Karunanidhi was readmitted to the hospital with breathing difficult due to throat and lung infection.

In the latest health bulletin by Kauvery Hospital, It's been mentioned that Karunanidhi has underwent tracheostomy to improve breathing. The condition of DMK Supremo is stable and he is on antibiotics.

DMK Leaders gave an assurance that Karunanidhi is responding well to the treatment and he would be discharged soon. DMK Treasurer MK Stalin, Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi and former Union Minister MK Alagiri remained at the Kauvery Hospital.
