From few days there were stories in certain sections of media which said that Telangana IT minister KTR was most likely to be appointed the working president. It was also speculated that KCR nephew Harish Rao is unhappy that KTR is being given more responsibility in the party.
Setting at rest the speculation that KTR would be made the working president of the party, KCR's daughter and Nizamabad MP Kavitha opened up on the matter. Speaking to an media house in an exclusive interview Kavita said the issue had never come for discussion either within the party or within the family. Kavita has made it clear that he sees no need for the appointment of a working president within TRS.
She said there was no proposal to make KTR the working president of the party. Kavitha also scoffed at the rumours that she would get a cabinet berth and the party would join the NDA. She said there were mere rumours. Incidentally, KCR has been appointed the party president once again and speaking on the occasion, Kavitha made this clear.
