Kavitha Kalwakuntla is back in action. With her election to the Legislative Council a foregone conclusion, she is becoming active again in politics. She has now been given the responsibility of the Singareni Collieris union elections. She has been asked to spearhead the campaign and ensure the victory of the TRS backed union.
Now, Kavitha is all set to visit Singareni and Ramagundam on July 2. She will take part in a protest programme organised by the TRS-backed union against the proposed privatisation of the collieries. Already, she has got in touch with most of the key leaders in the coalmines region and has worked out a strategy to ensure a TRS victory. The trade union workers too are doing everything they can to make her visit to Ramagundam a huge success. Already posters, banners and buntings showing Kavitha Kalwakuntla with captions â Boss is Back are flooding the coal belt area.
She is also said to be focussing on ironing out the differences between the TRS leaders in the area. There is intense groupism in the TRS union in the coal belt and Kavitha has been specially tasked to put an end to this.
