Why KCR Aims 16 Not 17 Lok Sabha Seats?

Update: 2018-05-07 04:37 GMT
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao chalked out a strategy to bag 16 out 17 Lok Sabha Seats in the 2019 General Elections in Telangana. Why did he spare the remaining One Parliament Segment? Just because TRS Supremo wishes to maintain good relations with AIMIM which is headed by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi. So, The Ruling Party willn't be in race for Hyderabad Parliament Segment.

For making Federal Front dictate terms, Achieving maximum number of MP Seats in Telangana is the first step that need to be done by KCR. TRS managed to win 11 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 Polls. While Congress won two seats, MIM, TDP, BJP and YSRC bagged one seat each. Defections in the past four years increased the strength of TRS to 14 seats.

KCR is toying with the idea of fielding five of his Cabinet Ministers in Lok Sabha Segments to win not less than 16 seats. T Harish Rao (Zaheerabad), Kadiam Srihari (Warangal), Etela Rajender (Huzurnagar), Tummala Nageshwar Rao (Khammam) and Patnam Mahender Reddy (Chevella) are likely to be offered MP Tickets. To make the Ministers agree for this adjustment, KCR seems to have promised to offer one Assembly Ticket to their kin.
