AP Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu questioned Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar who approved AP Reorganisation Act 2014 was passed in Parliament is now objecting Section 8 which is part of the Bill.
Yanamala advised Telangana Government to work towards Amendments to Section 8 if they have any objections instead of trying to stop its implementation. "KCR is very much part of preparation of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 and he even celebrate after it got approved. Then, why is he complaining now?," he asks.
AP Government demanded implementation of Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act 2014 in the Common Capital after phone tapping took the centrestage. TRS Government, however, firmly opposed Section 8 and kept saying it won't tolerate if attempts were made to hurt the self-respect of Telangana people. In his recent meeting with Higher Officials, KCR even declared he is ready to go on fast if Section 8 is implemented in the new state.
