Update: 2019-02-23 10:31 GMT
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao finally broke his silence on representation for Women in the TRS Cabinet.

Congress MLA Sabitha Indra Reddy raised the question whether if TRS Leadership have no intention to provide representation to the Women in the cabinet. In reply, KCR revealed he is going to offer cabinet berths for two women members of the party soon after the Lok Sabha Elections.

TRS Supremo reiterated that there is scope for only 17 Cabinet Berths in Telangana as the Constitution suggests Ministries can't exceed 15 percent of the total Number of Seats. He claimed to have inducted 10 Members in the first cabinet expansion taking into account Social, Political, Regional and Caste equations. 'In 2018 Assembly Polls, Women extended overwhelming support to TRS. We will show our gratitude to them by offering respectable posts,' assured KCR.

Right now, TRS have three Women MLAs (Padma Devender Goud, Gongadi Sunitha, Rekha Naik). Padma Devender Goud is most likely to get Cabinet Berth. One among Gongadi Sunitha and Rekha Naik will be taken into the cabinet. Controversy over lack of representation for women in TRS Cabinet ended with Today's announcement from KCR.
