Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Thursday won the hearts of employees when he announced 43 per cent fitment for the employees as part of pay revision commission recommendations.In a clear effort aimed at keeping the Government employees happy, KCR has announced the much-awaited pay revision.
The fitment would also be applicable to those who would retire on June 30. KCR said that Orders to this effect would be released on Friday. The chief minister said that the arrears would be credited to the respective GPF accounts of the employees and the hiked salaries would be given from March. KCR promised that the Telangana government will be the most employee-friendly one among all the States.
Its known that recently KCR announced a special Telangana increment and health cards for government employees, weekly offs to police staff and medical allowance to traffic police. He promised salaries and pensions for them on par with Central government employees.
The employees associations have expressed happiness over the PRC and thanked the chief minister for backing the employees. Employees Associations leaders Devi Prasad, Parliamentary Secretary Srinivas Goud and Mamatha and others expressed happiness on the 43 per cent hike of fitment.
