To fulfill the poll promise, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao directed Officials to prepare a State-Level Housing Policy for the implementation of 2-bedroom house scheme which is intended to help the poor.
In a review meeting, KCR told the concerned authorities that about 400 houses in each Assembly constituency will be constructed this year. He asked them to take measures to increase the number from next year.
It was during this meeting, Officials have shown KCR the miniature models of the houses to be constructed in Warangal and Erravelli village, the place where his farmhouse exists. Chief Minister advised Officials to make sure 2-bedroom apartments in Urban Areas need to be in a 3-storey buildings to overcome land scarcity and those in Rural Areas should have open space in the surroundings for cattle & other needs.
