KCR First Signature worth Rs 15,000 crore

TRS Chief KCR's first signature after swearing-in as Chief Minister of Telangana state is expected to cost the state exchequer a whooping Rs 15,000 crore. It is estimated to benefit as many as 22 lakh farmers in the new state amounting to Rs 1 lakh each.

KCR promised farm loan waiver in the TRS Manifesto and assured that his first signature would be on loan waiver for farmers of up to Rs 1 lakh. Former IAS Officers have already been working on the draft which will be sent to state administration. Soon after taking oath as CM, KCR will sign on the farm loan waiver file.

In fact, TRS is considering the option of interest-free loans to farmers and giving more time for farmers who have taken loan amount more than Rs 1 lakh to pay the dues.
