Is KCR Repending Early Polls Decision Now?

Update: 2018-11-01 10:44 GMT
Is there a re-think in the TRS about the decision to go for early polls? Is the party repenting and ruing its decision? Is the party confused that the early polls could actually spell doom for the party? Yes, say the TRS sources, If the buzz we are hearing is right, even KCR feels the same and has expressed it to some of his senior colleagues.  There is a growing a feeling that the strategy of declaring 105 candidates and going in for early polls has actually boomeranged. Several party seniors are wondering whether KCR had committed the worst blunder of his political life.  Many say KCR, who never made a mistake while being in Opposition, has committed a folly while being in power. Many also feel announcing 105 candidates too was a strategic mistake. The sitting MLAs are drawing lot of flak from the people. They are facing lot of opposition from the people. The TRS expected some backlash from the rebels but not from the people themselves. Now KCR cannot go forward with the sitting MLAs, nor can he replace them with better candidates.

Sources say that several senior have suggested that KCR change at least 50 per cent of the sitting candidates. But, a confident KCR went ahead with the sitting candidates. He felt the people would vote for him and not in the name of the candidates. Now, adverse reports are flowing in from Khammam, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Mahaboobnagr and even Hyderabad.

Maha Kutami too is not playing the way KCR hoped it would. It is moving strategically and is delaying the release of the candidates. The TRS candidates do not now who their rivals would be.  Congress delay is affecting the TRS plans. So, there is alround despondency in the ruling TRS.
