Telanagana chief minister KCR has finally offered clarification on decision to erect a 125-foot-tall statue of BR Ambedkar near NTR Ghat. KCR attended as chief guest for Balayya's Gautamiputra Satakrni launch. After giving clap on the Muhurat shot of the movie at Annapurna Studios KCR spoke few words and recalled his association with late NTR.
KCR said that he was a big fan of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao all his life. The CM further said NTR Ghat in the city will not be disturbed for any other purpose and it will remain forever.
"NTR was a great leader who brought us Telugus a national and international recognition. He is honored even today in every household in both the Telugu states" KCR said and assured that his memorial will be preserved forever.
Lauding Balayya for choosing the period story for his 100th movie, KCR said it will sure run for 200 days and he will go to the movie with his family.
