KCR's Maha Dharna in Jantar Mantar

Update: 2018-03-09 10:52 GMT
Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao is showing aggression ever since he proposed Third Front for creating an alternative to BJP and Congress. He is now mulling to organize 'Chalo Delhi - Maha Dharna' at Jantar Mantar in Delhi before the end of Parliament Budget Session on April 6th.

KCR demands Centre to offer full freedom to states in Education and Health Sectors. He also sought amendment of Section 46 of the Constitution to increase reservations for weaker sections as the convenience of State Governments.

TRS Government passed a resolution in Assembly increasing Reservations Quota for Minorities and Tribals. Whereas, Centre disapproved the recommendation citing Supreme Court guidelines (Reservations can't exceed 50 percent unless it's a special case). Union Home Ministry opined the reason quoted by Telangana Government can't be treated as a special in any way.

After holding discussion with concerned officials on Thursday, KCR decided to offer a befitting reply to the queries raised by Centre. He is likely to invite like-minded parties for Maha Dharna in Delhi.
