KCR's master strategy: Is Munugode just the beginning?

Update: 2022-11-13 07:49 GMT
Is there a master plan behind Telangana Chief Minister KCR's  move to align with the CPI and the CPM in the Munugode byelections? If sources are to be believed, KCR is planning to extend the alliance to the whole of the state for the 2023 elections. Sources also say that KCR could even extend the alliance to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

KCR has realized that the Left could play a crucial role in Munugode. In fact, it had won a record five times in the past and has a substantial vote bank in the constituency. Hence, he aligned with him. Now, political pundits argue that the winning margin of the TRS in Munugode is mainly because of the Left vote bank.

According to political observers, KCR has a deeper agenda in aligning with the Left parties. He realizes that the Left parties have a dedicated vote bank in at least a half of the 119 assembly constituencies in Telangana, especially in the Warangal-Nalgonda-Khammam belt. Hence, by aligning with them, KCR and his party will acquire a decisive edge over its rivals in the 2023 assembly elections.

This, according to political observers, would be KCR's master strategy for 2023. He would divide the non-TRS votes between the BJP and the Congress Party on one hand and would add up the Left votes to the TRS so that his party acquires as edge in the elections. They argue that Munugode is just the beginning.
