Not Just Victory, KCR Needs Record Majority!

Update: 2018-10-29 04:25 GMT
In 2014 Polls, TRS bagged 63 MLA Seats. Harish Rao won from Siddipet with a record majority of 93,328 votes in the last election. Majority stood at around 50,000 or more for TRS in close to 15 Constituencies. In close to 30 Assembly Segments, 20,000-plus Majority has been attained. KCR conveyed to TRS Candidates that he doesn't want them just to win but attain huge majority as well.

Analysts say, TRS may emerge as a single largest party but attaining huge majority mayn't be possible in maximum number of seats. Why because, Congress, TDP & Left Parties contested separately in 2014. Prof.Kodandaram remained neutral during the last elections. Now, These forces have come together in the form of People's Alliance.

In addition, KCR's choice of candidates in few segments drew criticism. Konda Surekha who won with a majority of 55,085 votes from Warangal (East) in 2014 was denied ticket. Situation of Choppadandi ex-MLA Bodige Shobha and Medchal ex-MLA M Sudheer Reddy who won with 54,981 & 43,455 votes majority is no different.
