KCR'S new year Gift To Hyderabadis

Telangana Chief Minsiter KCR offers a new year gift to all residents of Hyderabad. Eyeing the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections expected to be held in the in few days the TRS chief announced bumper offer to the citizens.
 
Telangana government has decided to collect Rs 101 nominal property tax from owners who have been paying Rs 1,200 as annual property tax. An official  notification  to this regard was announced today.
 
More than five lakh house owners are likely to benefit from the government decision. . Initially, The CM thought of waiving property tax completely for those house owners paying Rs 1,000 per year. He, however, dropped the idea after  GHMC Officials informed him that such a move requires amendment to GHMC Act.
 
KCR had asked GHMC officials to take up repair of the badly damaged roads in the city within 10 days and complete them within a month. CM KCR might be expecting all these sops offered  by him will yield fruitful result to his party in the GHMC elections. However, if seen the ground realities, TRS had to strive hard to win elections.
