How will KCR fulfil the promise he gave to these two senior leaders? One was a former minister and a strong leader of the settler community. The other one was the former speaker of the assembly and is an influential Reddy leader. One is from the TDP, while the other one is a Congress leader. KCR personally met and invited them both into the TRS. He promised them ministerial berths.
But, both these leaders now feel left out. Nobody is talking about them. KCR has almost forgotten them. Their names have not been considered during the recent ministry formation. Today, these leaders feel that they have been ignored and have been give a short shrift. These two leaders are former speaker K Suresh Reddy and Mandava Venkateswara Rao. Both these leaders are from undivided Nizamabad and were roped in to ensure Kavitha's victory. While Suresh Reddy joined ahead of the Assembly polls, Mandava joined the party ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. But, despite their best efforts Kavitha has been defeated in the elections.
As a result, KCR said to be ignoring their claims to a place in the ministry. He feels he does not need them anymore. So, both these senior leaders are now feeling completely marginalised in the TRS. Will KCR do something for them? Let's wait and see.
