Operation Khammam: 6 MLAs Jump Into TRS!

Update: 2019-03-16 05:57 GMT
TRS Leadership felt the necessity to strengthen the party in Khammam District after the 2018 Telangana Assembly Polls. The Ruling Party bagged only 1 out of 10 MLA Seats.

KCR launched 'Operation Khammam' to lure as many elected MLAs as possible from Khammam district. Initially, Independent MLA Ramulu Naik was welcomed into the party. Then, Congress MLAs Rega Kantha Rao, Banothu Haripriya Naik and Kandala Upender shifted loyalties to TRS. TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah to got into the car. And now, Yet another MLA (Vanama Venkateswara Rao) got ready to strengthen KCR's leadership.

'Operation Khammam' increased the strength of TRS from 1 MLA Seat to 7 MLA Seats in the district. Congress Senior Leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka (Madhira), Podem Veeraiah (Bhadrachalam) and TDP MLA Mochha Nageswara Rao are the only MLAs in the Opposition Camp for now. How long can they stay loyal to their parties?

There is hardly Opposition in Telangana with the collectively strength of TRS and MIM crossing 100-mark. Is it good for Democracy?
