KCR's Plan B for Hyd Metro Rail inauguration

Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS) hasn't issued the safety clearance for Hyderabad Metro Rail's 30-km stretch from Miyapur to Nagole. Until this clearance wasn't given, There is no possibility of Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking part in the inauguration on November 28th, 2017.

As many as Five Intelligence Sleuths have come to Hyderabad from New Delhi for the inspection of Hyderabad Metro Rail route, tracks and stations. The report submitted by them will be crucial for the participation of PM in the inauguration.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has come up with a Plan B to ensure the inauguration happens as per schedule. CMRS had already given safety clearance for the 12 km stretch between Miyapur and SR Nagar. So, PM will be asked to inaugurate Metro Rail at Miyapur Station.

State Government is likely to postpone the commercial operations by a week considering the delay in safety clearance for the 30-km stretch.
