After AP minister Nara Chandra Babu its turn of his counterpart Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao to visit Delhi before union budget. KCR'S visited Delhi to made an oral presentation of the State's requirements including the promises made for the state before Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
As per reports KCR has urged the prime minister Narendra Modi to release Rs30,000 crore as a special grant to the state. KCR was welcomed by Modi and the prime minister congratulated over his party's win in GHMC elections.
KCR also requested the PM's intervention to speed up the bifurcation of the state High Court. He requested the Centre to allot an additional 50 IPS officers and requested the Prime Minister to increase theofficers from the present 112 to 141 to TS.
Apart from special grant to Telangana is a new state KCR also asked him on setting of All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad. He also urged the Central government to confer national project status on Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project.
